Miki Lowe is an Anglo-Japanese illustrator, raised in France and currently based between London and Spain. Her broad portfolio spans interior and textile design, editorial, publishing, packaging, and fashion.
Her creative language is shaped by her multicultural upbringing and a curiosity for various creative fields, from interior design, photography to floristry. Using ink, brush and paint, she combines a minimal but gestural line with a sense of ornament and visual abundance. While the subject, topic, and colour palette of her work may shift from project to project, an inclination toward moments of poetry and romance runs through all her practice.
