Colour always takes centre stage for Alejandra García y Gutiérrez. The Mexican artist creates paintings, murals and sculptures that sing with vibrant hues, often incorporating geometric shapes and patterns that sit harmoniously together side by side.

The Thanapara Swallows Development Society employs around 200 local craftswomen through fair trade projects including dyeing yarns, weaving fabrics, hand embroidery, and sewing. It is an active member of the World Fair Trade Organization.
